Cheryl has been in the industry for about 40 years. She started working in Wayne, then Newtown Square, and now in Media, where she will celebrate 30 years in March, 2020! Cheryl has been trained in color techniques at the Clairol institute in NYC. She has earned a teacher’s license from the Commonwealth and has taught for Gordon Phillips and Randy Rick of Reading. Cheryl is a past president of the National Cosmetology Association, Delaware Valley affiliate. She is an expert in all phases of hair care.

Fergy’s opened in 1990 in Media at its present location.

Cheryl’s “Different By Design” logo came about in 1990. Cheryl wanted a professional salon without the attitude that other salons display.

Cheryl wanted a salon where all clients feel comfortable and important, with no high pressure and where the stylist listens to the client. We are committed to our profession as well as customer service.
